Gather 'round, ladies and gentlemen
to hear a rousing tale told
Of a young maiden from a nearby land
during the time of winter's cold
She was a young and bright-eyed lady
Of dark skin and black hair
And this day her big predicament
is what I'm about to share
You see, she had a present
to gift 'fore Christmas Day
But alas, it was a most difficult task
than finding a needle in the hay
The gift she had was a perfect sphere
A globe, large and round
But only a rectangular piece of wrapping paper
in her house was to be found
Long and hard the lady thought
to find some sort of key
to solving this interesting puzzle
her answer? well, just wait and see
It took her but moments of silent thought
and then an idea struck her mind
she placed the globe so gently down
and brought the paper that she did find
Instead of folding it with perfect corners
She gathered it in her hands
And such talent she had the the paper obeyed
as if she were molding shifting sand
With the sphere tucked safely within the wrap
She tied the top with ribbon
She flounced the end and made it look
like candy ready to be given
And thus the young woman bested the challenge
and thus deserved a satisfied smile
It was an effort worth spending
even if it did take a while

Excuse my slow-mindedness.

They say you can't get to know a person 'till you crawl into their shoes and walk around in them. Well, I tried that, but it only made me realize they had very big feet.
